Complete Dentures

If you lose your teeth, dentures can be a great option to replace them. You can replace your missing teeth and restore your smile with full dentures that offer a natural looking solution. This is a key procedure that will help you to improve your appearance, speaking, and also chew your food.

At Gustavo Denture & Implant Centre we offer dentures and dental services that will make you look and feel good.

Conventional dentures are one of two types of complete denture. All complete dentures cover the entire jaw — either upper or lower — and are used for people who are missing all of their teeth. Conventional dentures are different from other complete dentures because they are not inserted until after any remaining natural teeth are removed and gums are completely healed, which usually takes about four weeks. Usually, conventional dentures are custom-made for each person’s mouth in a process that takes several months. Your dentist will surgically remove any remaining teeth, ask you about how you’d like the dentures to look, take an impression of your mouth, and have several trial fittings once the conventional denture is actually made.

Dentures over implants also called “Overdentures” were developed to help both partial and complete edentulous patients to regain a quality of life. Implants used when a person doesn’t have any teeth in the jaw, but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants. If all your upper or lower teeth are missing, another best option may be to stabilize your removable denture using a small number of implants.

Many people do not wear their dentures at all, because they lack retention, are unstable and do not function naturally. Implants enable the use of traditional dentures for people who have minimal bone to support them. The dentures are snapped onto the implants, making them secure and comfortable.

DIGITAL DENTURE

Precision. We can adjust and personalize the treatment to very high levels so that your smile is what you need.

Eight times stronger than conventional dentures.

Speed. The time that the patient remains in consultation is shortened, and the development of the treatment is also reduced.

Greater comfort. To create dental impressions, that is, an exact mold of the patient’s oral cavity, we no longer use silicone or alginate impression trays, molds or pastes. These dental impressions are an excellent comfort for the patient who sometimes suffered from discomfort and even nausea.

The information and details that it allows to send to the laboratory are so precise and complete that it considerably reduces the number of visits to the dentist. Without this technology, patients must visit up to 4 times just for tests.

With the 3Shape TRIOS Design Studio intraoral 3D scanner that we have incorporated into our dental clinic, we capture images of the inside of your mouth that we will see reflected on a screen that we view live. For this reason, it has become an essential tool in the diagnosis and planning of dental treatments since it facilitates the presentation of clinical cases to study the evolution of the patient (the extracted images are incorporated into each clinical history).
